Thomas McGovern is a photographer, writer and educator in San Bernardino, California. He is the author of Bearing Witness (to AIDS) (1999), Hard Boys + Bad Girls (2010) and Amazing Grace (2010). His photographs have been in many national and international solo and group exhibitions and are in the collections of The Brooklyn Museum of Art; Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; Baltimore Museum of Art; Museum of the City of New York, and The New York Historical Society, among others. He is a professor of art at California State University, San Bernardino.
