J. K. Lavin attended the Visual Studies Workshop in the early 70’s and completed an MA in Photography at California State University at Fullerton. She currently lives in Venice, CA and has been working on a long-term project making exterior photographs during the full moon with a hand-held camera using negative film, invoking randomness and chance.
