Eric Daniel Le Roy is a 2007 graduate of the Visual Studies Workshop and currently teaches media communications for the Rochester City School District. His work is often described as an investigation of the mimetic process and a disquisition on our shared narratives as a collective. He is currently working on a series of hex and binary code images, based on a series of photographs that he captured in 2009. This process is one of “looking” behind the image while restoring the presence of both the mechanical and the manual source of production. Eric lives and works in Rochester, NY and remains active in the local, national and international arts community. You can contact Eric and view more of his work at www.eric-daniel.com.
