Stuart Rome earned his B.F.A in photography at R.I.T. in 1977 and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Photography at Arizona State University in 1980. In 1985 he began teaching in the Design Arts College at Drexel University where he was instrumental in the creation of the curriculum and the design for a facility to house a new photography major where he continues to teach.
